Wine Poste Resumes Shipping In and Out of Texas

Today the Wine Poste announced that it is about to resume shipping wines to consumers across Texas and beyond. During summer’s hottest months, the Wine Poste suspends wine shipping in order to protect the integrity of the wine. But now that we’re moving into late September and temperatures will soon cool down, the Wine Poste is once again dispatching its favorite wines to be delivered straight to consumers’ homes in Texas and beyond.

The Wine Poste’s mission is to shake up the normal wine buying experience by focusing on exciting new wines and hosting food and wine-related events in Dallas. And by offering high quality, affordably priced wines in-store as well as online for shipment, the company can ship its wine selections to wine drinkers located outside the Dallas and Ft Worth areas of Texas and beyond.

While there are other companies that ship wine to Texas and in Texas, most are larger corporations that stock wine from prolific producers, making it difficult for shoppers to receive wines of interest and cult following. The locally-owned Dallas, TX based Wine Poste is dedicated to sourcing, stocking and shipping boutique brand wines, which means wine drinkers can look forward to receiving hard-to-find Bordeaux blends, rare single vineyard pinot noirs and a vast variety of national and international labels.

“The Wine Poste is able to source fantastic wines by cultivating relationships with premier producers and our distributors,” said a partner of the Wine Poste. “We understand that many markets around Texas, especially rural areas, are underserved when it comes to great wines. So we hope to fill that void by shipping our wine products directly to wine lovers all across the state of Texas.”

Wine bought online is shipped througout Texas and the United States with a flat $5 fee, and the more you buy, the more you save. Customers who purchase a case of wine will receive 10 percent off their order.

The Wine Poste retail store is located at 2001 Irving Blvd, Suite 145. Housed in a 4,500 square foot warehouse, it was designed with comfort in mind. In addition to providing a well-curated selection of wine for sale, the Wine Poste serves as an event space available for wine tastings, dinner parties and other events. Memorial Day Pairings

Memorial Day weekend kicks off today which means it’s time to fire up the grill and grab a glass to celebrate!

Here are a few wines that we suggest you pick up to pair with your Memorial Day outdoor fun.

Looking to quench your thirst while the grill warms up?  Chill a bottle of 2011 Chateau de Berne Impatience Rose ($20.99) and enjoy the best of Provence in your own backyard.  This wine is very delicate with subtle red fruits and very nice acidity.  It’s a winner at just above $20 and is one of our favorite patio wines for the summer.  Texas really should be the Rose Capital of America – Join in the movement!

If you are looking for the ultimate pairing for the meat lover, we would recommend buying a bottle of the 2010 Three Wine Company Carignane - Lucchesi Vineyard ($27.99).  Made by Matt Cline with 93% Carignan from 100 year old vines in the Contra Costa area of California, this dense red wine shows black cherry and spice and finishes with a touch of smokiness.  It is the perfect complement to smoked brisket and other grilled meats.

Or, maybe you are more of the Pescatarian type and enjoy a fresh cut of Copper River Salmon on the grill?  We suggest you grab and slightly chill a bottle of 2011 Talbott Sleepy Hollow Chardonnay ($39.99).  This Central Coast Chardonnay, with its buttery flavor and creamy texture, will pair well with grilled salmon and most rich butter cream sauces.

Whatever you prefer, make sure you get out and have fun this weekend and celebrate with great food & wine

All wines are available at online or onsite at: www.WinePoste.com
